During the common operation, the computer-related systems and the applicative ones dedicated to the operation of the WGT point out only some data (the transmission of which is implicit in the use of communication protocols of Internet) not associated with directly-identifiable users.
These data are processed for the time strictly necessary for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the WGT and for controlling its regular functioning.
Personal data: collection and use
While our WGT is being utilised, it is requested to supply personal data: full name, e-mail address, city, country and organization/company name. We shall use the data for administering the processes and data bases of our web site. We shall guarantee that all personal data supplied be kept safely in conformity with the general regulation on the protection of data, i.e. EU Regulation 2016/679.
User rights
As a user you can verify the details that you sent to CNR-ISAC by contacting the following e-mail address: direttore@isac.cnr.it. Our safety procedures imply that we shall be able to require proof of identity prior to revealing information, including your e-mail address and possibly your address.
- Users can also contact us by using the same method for altering, correcting or requesting that we cancel your personal data in relation to any of the said accounts in any moment whatsoever. We collect the following personal data from individuals when they submitted the registration for the access to the WGT https://www.protecht2save-wgt.eu.:

How will the data be filed?
If you become a user of the WGT, your data will be filed in our database (on our server).
In cases in which data are memorised on printed paper, these are conserved in a safe place to which non authorized persons are not admitted.
Treatment method
CNR-ISAC uses the safety measures provided by EU Regulation N° 2016/679 in order to protect collected data, for the purpose of preventing risks of loss or theft of data, unauthorised accesses, illegal and incorrect uses.
How will it be utilised?
The names and email addresses submitted to CNR-ISAC during the registration to the WGT will be used solely for CNR-ISAC’s stated purposes and not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party, excluding legal obligations.
Purposes
Personal Data collected during the registration procedure to access and use the WGT could be used and elaborated in order to analyse the geographical distribution of the users, typology of users (students, researchers, policy and decision makers, professionals, etc.), platform upgrading, planning events related to the platform exploitation.
For how long a time shall we conserve your data?
CNR-ISAC will not conserve your personal data any longer than is necessary, anyway non more than 5 (five) years after your registration.
If requested by the law or if it is reasonably necessary in order to satisfy the prescriptive requisites, resolve controversies, avoid frauds and abuses or apply our policies, we may conserve several of your data for a limited period of time, even after your account has been closed or it is no longer necessary to have contact.
Right to update our policy on privacy
It must be noted that, in order to have a constant adjustment to the law and indications of the central office of the CNR, we are constantly reviewing how we process and protect data. Therefore, the modifications to our policy can be verified at any moment whatsoever.

Article (1) Risk Mapping Tool for Cultural Heritage Protection
The Risk Mapping Tool for Cultural Heritage Protection (WGT) has been initially designed and implemented in the framework of the Interreg Central Europe project “ProteCHt2save - Risk assessment and sustainable protection of cultural heritage in changing environment”, completed in June 2020. An upgraded version of the WGT is currently being developed in the framework of the ongoing Interreg Central Europe project “STRENCH - STRENgthening resilience of Cultural Heritage at risk in a changing environment through proactive transnational cooperation”, started in March 2020.
Article (2) Access
Registered users have access to the WGT through which they can visualize and explore selected products and download them. Selected data may be made available by the WGT management entity (CNR ISAC).
Article (3) No Endorsement
No user may publicly represent or imply that the WGT management entity is participating in, or has sponsored, approved or endorsed the manner or purpose of the use or reproduction of any of the Content.
Article (4) Right to Modification
The WGT management entity reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any revised Terms of Use will be posted on the WGT website. Modifications shall take effect immediately following posting of the revised Terms of Use.
Article (5) Discontinuation and Termination
The WGT management entity reserves the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Content as well as any means of accessing or utilizing it at its sole discretion with or without prior notice to users.
The WGT management entity may at its sole discretion, under any circumstances, for any or no reason and with or without prior notice to users, terminate any user’s access to the Content, particularly in cases of violation of these Terms of Use or any of the applicable license terms.
Article (6) Exclusion of Liability and Warranties
Other than in cases of intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty by its staff or representatives or claims resting on an injury to life, body or health, the WGT management entity shall not be responsible nor liable to any user of the WGT for any loss or damage of any sort incurred in connection with the use of the WGT.
The WGT management entity shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any Content.
Any Content made available for download or use through or within the WGT is supplied "as is" without further warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, the quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose. Subject to the aforesaid, the WGT management entity shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to direct, indirect, special, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages arising out of the use of or the inability to use the Content.
The WGT management entity shall not be liable and accept no representation or responsibility for the functionality or contents of external websites, services or software products hyperlinked from the WGT.
The WGT management entity disclaims all warranties related to the provision of Content through the WGT.
Article (7) Protection of Personal Data
The WGT management entity Data Protection and Privacy Statement applies to all personal data provided by the user in order to register.
Article (8) Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is for any reason held to be invalid, illegal or otherwise unenforceable, such unenforceability does not affect any other provision; the Terms of Use are then to be construed as if they had never contained the provision(s) in question and are to be interpreted, in so far as possible, in such a way as to maintain their original intent.
